Our regional office is out at the Safex Cargo Complex in Dunkuni. We are located in the Bally Sambay Pallay area. It is a bit far from the city center, but this is where all the big trucks and highways are. The complex is quite large and there is always something being loaded or unloaded. It can be a very dusty place with all the movement and the warehouse activities. We are here every day managing the flow of goods coming in and out of the region. It is not a quiet office environment. There is the sound of engines and people shouting instructions most of the time. We handle the logistical side of things, making sure the manifests match what is on the trucks. The office itself is practical. We have our computers and some basic furniture. We don't spend time on making things look pretty because that isn't the point of being in Dunkuni. Our focus is just on the movement of the cargo. It is a big operation but we try to keep track of the small details too. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, like when it’s pouring rain on the loading docks, but the work doesn't stop. We have been at this location for a long time and everyone in the transport business knows the complex. It is just a busy, gritty place where things get moved.
