Rims Coaching

I’ve been running Rims Coaching here on Girish Ghosh Road for a while now. Howrah is a busy place, and our corner of it is no different. We mostly focus on helping the local kids get through their exams without too much stress. It’s not a big fancy setup with glass doors or anything. We just have some rooms with desks and boards where we sit down and go over the chapters. Some days it gets pretty loud when the traffic picks up outside, but we manage. I started this because I saw how many students were struggling to keep up with their schoolwork. It isn’t always easy, and sometimes the electricity goes out in the middle of a lesson, but we keep the fans going as much as we can with the backup. The students who come here are mostly from around the neighborhood. We know their parents and we know which subjects they find hard to grasp. I don't really have a big staff, it’s just a few of us who know the material well enough to explain it simply. We don’t promise anyone they’ll be a genius overnight. That's just not how it works. It’s just about showing up every day and doing the problems until they make sense. We spend a lot of time on math and science because that’s what most people ask for. If you walk down the road, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a plain building but it serves its purpose for the families living around here.
