Our place is located at 47/48 Rnrc Ghat Road, right by the Shibpur Fortwilliam Jute Mill staff quarters in Howrah. It is an old part of the city, and you can really feel the history when you walk around the streets. We are near the river, so the air feels a bit different here compared to the city center. We handle logistics work for Relogistics India Pvt Ltd. It is mostly just moving things from one place to another. The office is in a bit of an old building, and sometimes the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose for us. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to people down at the docks. It is dusty work and can be quite tiring during the monsoon when the roads get messy. We are not some polished firm with a fancy lobby and a receptionist. We just have a couple of rooms and a lot of logbooks and pens. Most of us have worked in Shibpur for years, so we know all the shortcuts and the people around here. It is a busy environment with the jute mill nearby and all the heavy trucks coming through the gates. We mostly just focus on getting our daily tasks done before the sun goes down. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit during our lunch break to watch the activity. It is a real place for real work.
