We are up on the first floor on Damdan Road. It is Plot 42/1. You have to climb those stairs every morning. It gets a bit noisy from the street but we are used to it by now. Red Guards India has been here for a while. Usually, there are three or four of us in the office at any time. We keep the fans on high because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes the tea guy forgets to come up, so we go down ourselves. It’s a plain office. Not much decoration on the walls, just some old calendars and files. We deal with whatever comes our way. People stop by to ask directions sometimes since we are right there. The building is a bit old, but it stays standing. We don't have fancy furniture or anything. Just desks and some chairs that squeak if you sit too fast. It's just a regular place where we get our work finished before heading home. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We know the shopkeepers downstairs quite well. Sometimes we share snacks. It is a quiet life here on Damdan Road. We don't really do much besides the daily tasks. If you come by, just look for the sign on the first floor. It is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. We like it this way though. It's just a job and we do it.
