You can find us at Room No.187 on the first floor of number 37, Dr. Abani Dutta Road. It is an older building with a lot of character, and we have been here for quite a while. The hallway is usually a bit dim, but our office has enough light once you get inside. We deal with various real estate matters around this part of town. It’s a busy road with lots of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. We have a small desk and a few cupboards for all the paperwork we collect. Dealing with property involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. We spend much of our time on the telephone or meeting people at the properties they are interested in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We aren't part of some big national chain. We are just local people working in our own neighborhood. We know the streets around Dr. Abani Dutta Road like the back of our hand. Sometimes the rain makes the commute difficult, but we still show up and get the work done. Our office is a bit cluttered with old maps and files, but we know where everything is. People stop by to discuss rent or ask about selling their shops. We don’t have any slick presentations. We just talk honestly about what is available and what the prices are like lately. It's a steady way to spend the day.
