Being located in the Sudharas Food Park over in Dhulagori means we are surrounded by other food businesses all day. It’s a huge place. Prestige Ice Creams has been operating from this spot for some time. Our address is 1962/8503, which can be a bit tricky for new drivers to find when they first come to Sankrail. We spend most of our mornings checking the cold storage units. If those fail, we are in big trouble. The staff usually gets in early because that’s when the big trucks arrive for loading. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy containers and making sure the labels are straight. We have a small tea stall right outside the gate where most of us go during breaks to talk about the day. The industrial park gets very dusty, so we are always wiping things down inside. It isn't a corporate setup with meetings and powerpoints. We just look at the orders, see what’s in the freezer, and get it out the door. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment is delayed or if there is a problem with the batching. It is just how things go in the food business here. Most of our people have been here since the start, so we don't need to say much to each other to get the job done. It is hard work but we are used to it by now.
