Partho Tutorial

Partho Tutorial is located in Hatpukur, Jhikra, out here in the 711401 area of Howrah. We are quite close to the Joypur Bus Stop, so it’s easy for anyone taking the bus to get here. I’ve been running this for some time now. It’s just a small place where we focus on helping students with their schoolwork. It’s not very big, just a couple of rooms with some benches and a whiteboard. I don't believe in having a lot of fancy equipment that nobody uses. We just sit down and get to the books. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when you’re trying to study. Sometimes the local kids stop by just to ask a quick question, and that’s fine. I like being part of the Jhikra community. People here know each other, so it feels more like a family than a business. I started this because I saw that students were struggling and didn't have many options nearby. It’s been hard work, but seeing them improve is good enough for me. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. If you need help, you just find the bus stop and walk over. I’m usually there every afternoon. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the students are actually learning something useful. That's really all there is to it.
