Pal Stores

Down on Station Road in Ghoraghata, you will find Pal Stores. We are right in the Kantapukur section of Bagnan, which is a pretty lively part of Howrah. The 711303 area is where we have spent most of our time, running this little shop for the locals. It is not a big place at all. In fact, it can get a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We sell the basic stuff that every household needs. You can find oil, sugar, and various packets of biscuits on our shelves. Being on Station Road means there is a constant stream of people passing by. We often see the same commuters every morning and evening. The shop is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. People just know Pal Stores is here if they need something quickly without going all the way to the bigger markets. Sometimes we sit outside on a wooden stool when it’s slow, watching the rickshaws go by. It’s a quiet kind of life, even with the bustle of Bagnan all around us. We just try to keep enough stock so that we don't have to turn anyone away. It’s just us, doing what we do every day without much fuss.
