Our office is tucked away at 40, Kalabagan Lane in Santragachi. It is a bit of a tight street, especially when the delivery trucks try to turn the corner, but we have made it work for years. P. M. G. (India) Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us who know the industry well. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the country, just the one that stays reliable. Inside, it's mostly stacks of paperwork and some older furniture that has seen better days. We get a lot of locals dropping by because they know where we are. It’s a busy neighborhood. Sometimes the tea man comes by twice a day, which is the highlight for most of the staff. We handle a lot of logistics and technical bits that most people don't think about. The rain can be a real pain during the monsoon season on Kalabagan Lane, but we keep the gates clear. We don't have a big marketing team telling us what to say. We just answer the phones and do the work. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but it gets the job done. It is just a normal place where people come to work and earn a living. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors by name. It feels right to be part of the community here.
