New Jagannath Colour House

We are over at No. 5/1 Netaji Subhash Road, running the New Jagannath Colour House. This place is usually full of cans and containers of all sizes. If you walk in, you’ll probably smell the paint and thinner right away. It’s a busy spot because Netaji Subhash Road is always moving with people and cars. We spend a lot of our time mixing colors or helping people find the right shade for their walls. It isn't a showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s a real workshop and shop combined into one. The shelves are packed high with all sorts of pigments and brushes. Sometimes the floor gets a few drips of paint on it, but that's just part of the job here. We’ve been at this location for a good while. Most of the local contractors and painters know us by name now. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just a few of us behind the counter. We use old ledgers to keep track of things, and the phone rings pretty often with people asking about prices or stock. It gets very hot in the shop during the summer, but we keep the big fans going. It’s honest work, and we enjoy seeing the colors come together. No. 5/1 is a sturdy old building that has served us well. We just take things one customer at a time and try to get the orders right before the sun goes down.
