National Doctor Chamber

We've been over here on Amta Road in Dhaipur for a bit now. Most folks in Jaypur and the rest of Howrah know exactly where the chamber is since we're right on the main stretch. It’s just a plain spot where people come when they aren't feeling right. My desk is usually covered in papers and the chairs in the waiting area have seen better days, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the fan makes a little noise in the corner, but it keeps the air moving while people wait their turn. We stay open pretty regular hours because people need to know they can find a doctor without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy hospital with glass walls or anything like that. Just a simple room in Amta where the locals stop by. Usually, it's pretty busy in the mornings, then things quiet down after lunch. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it’s always a bit of a scramble with everyone showing up at once. If you're coming from the city side, it's a straight shot down the road. We’ve had the same sign out front for years. Nothing has changed much around here lately, which is probably how people like it. We just open the doors, let folks in, and try to help out as best as we can. It’s mostly just us and the patients chatting while the traffic goes by outside.
