M/S Heritage Shirts

Heritage Shirts is located on the first floor of 4/1 Panchanan Talla Road in Howrah. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has that classic Howrah feel to it. We make shirts. It’s a lot of fabric, buttons, and the sound of sewing machines all day. The first floor gets a bit of the street noise, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at this for a while. It’s not a huge factory, just a decent-sized workspace where we get things done. We don't have a glossy catalog. Usually, people just see the quality of the stitching and that’s enough. Panchanan Talla Road is a busy place, always something going on outside. We have a small group of workers who are really good at what they do. Some of them have been sewing since they were kids. We don't use fancy words for our shirts. They are just good shirts that last. We spend our time checking the seams and making sure the collars are straight. It’s a lot of manual work. The office part is just a desk in the corner with a lot of fabric swatches piled up. It’s a bit crowded, but it’s our space. We like it here in Howrah. The light in the afternoons is good for seeing the colors of the thread. We don't do much advertising. People find us by word of mouth.
