Monotech Engg.

The shop here on V Road in Dasnagar has been our second home for a long time. If you walk down the street, you can usually hear the sound of the metal work before you even see the sign for Monotech Engg. It is a busy area and things get dusty pretty fast with all the traffic passing by. Inside, the floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings because there is always something being cut or shaped. We don't have any fancy reception area or anything like that. There is just a small desk where the paperwork sits, mostly covered in coffee rings and notes scribbled on the back of old bills. Most days start early before the heat really kicks in. Dasnagar is an industrial kind of place, so nobody minds the noise we make. We just focus on the machines and getting the pieces right. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It is not a glamorous life, but it is what we do. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but every time we think about it, another big order comes in and we just keep working. People around here know where we are if they need something fixed or made. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes. It feels right being in this part of town where everyone is making something.
