We are based at House No 236 in Balitikuri, which is in the Shibtola area of Howrah. Mohanam Impex Llp is a small business that works out of this neighborhood. It’s a bit different than working in the middle of a big city, and we like the change of pace. Our office is part of the building here, so it feels very much like a local, home-grown operation. We don’t have any fancy glass walls or expensive office furniture. It’s just a simple room where we keep our files and do our daily tasks. We spend most of our time dealing with the details of import and export. It’s practical work that requires us to stay focused. Shibtola is a place where people actually know their neighbors, and we feel like we’re part of that. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation. We’re just regular people who know our business well. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit noisy with people going about their day, but we don't mind. It’s just how things are in Howrah. We handle our paperwork, talk to our contacts, and keep everything moving. We don't have any slogans or polished mission statements. We just show up and do the work. House No 236 is where we get everything done, and it’s served us well for a long time.
