Mobile Crane Operator

This is our mobile crane business located at 35 Cowies Ghat Road in Shibpur. We are right there in Howrah, pretty close to the water. It’s a busy and sometimes very cramped area, but it’s where we do our work. Working with cranes in a place like Howrah means we have to deal with narrow streets and a lot of traffic, but we always make it work somehow. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s definitely not a polished corporate office. It is more of a functional yard where we keep the equipment and handle all the paperwork. We are just regular workers who know how to handle big machinery. There isn't any fancy talk here. We wake up early, check the cranes, and go wherever the work happens to be that day. Sometimes the weather by the ghat is a bit unpredictable with the wind, but the work doesn't stop for that. We don't go around telling people we are the biggest or the best. We just do the jobs that come in. Most of our work comes from people nearby who already know where we are on Cowies Ghat Road. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of business we have. We’ve got oil on our hands and grease on the machines most days of the week. That’s just how a crane business usually looks. We are part of the local scene here in 711102. It is simple work that keeps us moving.
