We’re located at 27/1 Tarka Shiddanta Lane, right by the post office in Bally, Howrah. Mcnally Bharat Engnieering Company Limited is the name we go by. It’s a narrow lane, but we’ve managed to make a good home for ourselves here. The office is always full of people working on different engineering projects. We have stacks of blueprints and folders that take up most of the shelf space. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they work just fine for us. Working in Howrah means you’re always in the middle of some kind of bustle. We hear the sounds of the street all day long, from the tea sellers to the passing rickshaws. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do our engineering work, and go home. Our team is a mix of older guys who know every trick in the book and younger ones learning the ropes. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time double-checking our calculations. It’s a practical environment. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we’re just a local branch doing our bit. If you need to find us, just look for the lane near the P.O. Bally. We’ll be there, probably buried in some technical drawings or arguing about a project timeline.
