Mayur Eduworld

Mayur Eduworld is tucked away at 10/1, Kali Banerjee Lane in Howrah. This area has a lot of old buildings and narrow paths, so you have to keep an eye out for the number when you first visit. We have been sitting in this spot for some time, helping the local students with their daily school work and various subjects they find difficult. The setup is very straightforward with wooden benches and whiteboards in the rooms. There isn't any fancy decor on the walls, just some maps or old charts. We start our day early enough to get everything ready before the afternoon rush starts. Howrah can be a bit loud with the traffic and the people, but our lane stays relatively quiet most of the time. Students usually walk over from the nearby houses or take a short rickshaw ride. We don’t really do much advertising because most people find out about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a simple routine here. We teach, the kids ask their questions, and then they head home to do their homework. During the rainy season, the lane gets a bit muddy, so everyone has to be careful coming in. We keep a few extra umbrellas in the corner just in case. It’s a small operation run by people who just know the subjects well. We don't have big corporate meetings or anything like that. We just focus on the lessons and the students sitting in front of us.
