Manorama Stores

Manorama Stores is situated in Manoharpur, right along that busy stretch of Nalpur Station Road. We’ve been serving the local Howrah community for a long time now. It’s one of those shops where you can find a bit of this and a bit of that. Whether it’s something for the kitchen or just a household item you realized you ran out of, we usually have it tucked away somewhere. The shop layout is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as much stock as possible for our neighbors. Being near the station means there’s always people walking by, especially in the mornings and evenings. We get to hear all the local gossip and news while we’re weighing out goods or bagging things up. It’s a simple life running a store here in WB 711310. We don’t bother with big signs or flashy lights. Most people know us by name anyway. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use lanterns, but the shop stays open as long as it can. We handle the inventory ourselves, so we know exactly what’s on the shelves. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but seeing the same neighbors every day makes it feel worth it. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door to buy their daily essentials from us.
