Malick Ice Cream

We have been here in Deulpur for quite a while now. Most people in the Panchla area know exactly where we are located. It is a quiet spot, really just a village post area. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just the place where we keep the freezers running and make sure the stock is ready for whoever comes by. It gets pretty hot around here during the summer months, so we stay busy then. The roads in Deulpur can be narrow, but people find us okay. It is just a small team of us working here. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything stays cold. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage. My family has lived around this part of the village for a long time. Running a business like Malick Ice Cream keeps us on our toes every day. It isn’t always easy, especially when the weather is rainy and nobody wants a cold treat. But when the sun is out, it is a completely different story. We do not spend money on big signs or ads. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. If you are passing through the village or coming from the police station side, you might see us. We are just regular people trying to make a living and providing something local to the community. It is a simple life out here, and we like it that way.
