You’ll find Mahadev Spinning Mills Private Limited out at the Srijan Industrial & Logistics Park. We are right by N.H.6 on Bombay Road, not too far from the Saraswati Bridge. It’s a big industrial area, very different from the city. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machines is pretty much constant. We work with yarn and spinning. Our days are filled with the hum of the factory and the smell of raw materials. It’s dusty and loud, but that’s a mill for you. We have a lot of people working here, mostly local folks from the surrounding areas. We aren't really office people who sit in silence. We are usually walking around the floor checking the spindles or talking to the mechanics about a machine that's acting up. The logistics part of being in this park is good because the highway is right there. It makes it easier for the raw cotton to come in and the finished yarn to go out to the buyers. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just produce the yarn and sell it to whoever needs it for their weaving. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when we have big orders to finish. But it’s what we know how to do. We've been at this for a while and we just keep the machines running every day. It’s a basic business.
