Lawrence Dental Clinic

Lawrence Dental Clinic is situated at 478 G.T. Road in Shibpur, right near the old tram depot. If you know the area, you know how busy G.T. Road gets with all the buses and people. The tram depot is a good landmark for finding us. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is older and has that classic Shibpur look to it. Inside the clinic, we have the dental chairs and all the tools laid out. It can get pretty loud with the traffic outside, so we often keep the door shut tight. We deal with everything from toothaches to regular checkups for the kids in the neighborhood. The waiting area has some old magazines and a few plastic chairs. It’s not fancy but it’s where everyone sits while they wait their turn. We spend a lot of our day cleaning the instruments and talking to patients about their teeth. Most people around here know us by name because we’ve been part of the street for so long. We use a basic computer for the records but a lot of things are still written down in a big diary. The lighting is a bit yellow but it works for what we need. It is a busy, dusty part of town but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We just focus on fixing teeth and keeping the clinic going day by day.
