Larsen & Toubro Ltd.Ecc Division.

We are based out in Bally, over in the Howrah district of West Bengal. It’s been our home for this project for a bit. The Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Ecc Division office here isn't much to look at, just a place where the staff gathers to sort out the daily schedules. We deal with a lot of paperwork and manage the local labor. Being in Bally means we’re right in the middle of everything, which is good for logistics but sometimes a headache because of how crowded it gets. There’s always someone coming or going. We have some basic desks and a few computers that usually work. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we have a rhythm going. It isn't a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where we drink tea and figure out the next steps for the site. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the roads messy, but that is just part of living in Howrah. We don't spend much time worrying about the office decor. As long as we have what we need to track the progress, we're happy. It's honest work and a busy atmosphere most days. We've got a small team here trying to keep things on track, doing the best we can with the tools we have.
