Jayguru Bhandar

Jayguru Bhandar is a small shop located in the Kantapukur area of Ghoraghata. We are right on Station Road, which as you can imagine, is one of the busiest spots here in Bagnan, Howrah. Our little corner of the 711303 zip code is always full of activity. We primarily deal with grocery items and daily essentials. The shop has been around for a while, and it shows in the way the wooden shelves have worn down over the years. We keep things like rice, pulses, and cooking oils ready for whoever walks in. It’s a very local kind of place. Most of the people who shop at Jayguru Bhandar live just a few minutes away or use the Ghoraghata station nearby. We don't really have a big staff or any corporate rules. We just open the shutters in the morning and start weighing out goods for the customers. Station Road can be quite muddy when it rains, and that mud usually finds its way into the shop, so we spend a lot of time with a broom in hand. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the heavy sacks of grain arrive and need to be moved around. But we are used to the rhythm of it by now. We don't bother with fancy displays or advertisements. If people need something for their kitchen, they know where to find us.
