Jain Group Industries

Jain Group Industries is located in Howrah, specifically at 4-D, Sribus Dutta 2nd Bye Lane. If you know Howrah, you know the lanes can be a bit of a maze. Our building is tucked away in one of those spots. It’s an old part of town where the buildings are close together and the walls have that weathered look from years of monsoon rain. We have been working out of this lane for quite some time now. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff piled up in the corners. It’s not an office where you’d find fancy art or expensive carpets. It’s a place for hard work. The fans on the ceiling hum constantly to keep the air moving. Outside, you can hear the iron gates of other small workshops opening and closing. The street is barely wide enough for a small van to pass through. We usually have to move our bikes if someone needs to get by. There is a lot of history in these walls, though we don't think about it much. We just focus on the orders we have for the day. Lunch is usually something we bring from home in steel boxes. We sit around the main table and talk about the news or the weather while we eat. It’s a tight-knit group here and we've been together through many seasons.
