Sharee Ghar

We’ve been here on Jagadispur Road for a while now. Most mornings start early, opening up the shutters while the street is still getting busy. It gets quite dusty out there sometimes, especially with all the traffic coming through Howrah. Sharee Ghar is just a regular spot where we keep things simple. People walk in, look around, and we try to help them find what they need without making a big fuss. The building itself isn't anything fancy, just a practical space. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the highlight of our afternoon breaks. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the area well. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be a bit of a struggle, but we manage. You’ll find us here most days, just doing the work and keeping the place tidy. There’s always something to organize on the shelves. It’s a quiet kind of business for the most part, though the road outside can get noisy. We like being part of this neighborhood. It feels right being local. Most of our neighbors know us by name now. It’s not a complicated setup, really. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and go home when the sun goes down. If you’re passing by Jagadispur Road, you’ll probably see us there, maybe sweeping the front or just waiting for the next person to stop in. That is pretty much how it goes here every day.
