You can find us at the A To Z Market, right on the first floor at unit U 212. The market is on Karbala Road, which is always packed with people and vendors. It is one of those places where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. We sell children’s clothes and basic items. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to stack the stock high up on the walls. We use a small ladder to reach the top shelves. It’s a bit of a workout every day. I’ve been running this place for a few years now. The market has its own community, and we all help each other out. If I need to go out for a bit, the person in the next shop watches my door. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We don't have any bright lights or loud music playing. It’s just a quiet little corner in a loud market. People usually come in looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the piles. Karbala Road is a bit of a maze, but once you know where we are, it’s easy. We don't believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. We just open up, sell what we have, and head home in the evening. It’s a steady life and it keeps us busy.
