You can find us over at 32, Bharpara Road, specifically in Flat No 201 on the second floor. It's in the P.O.B. Garden area of Howrah, pin 711103. Itd Cementation India Ltd uses this space more like a hub for managing our local tasks. Since it’s a flat, it has a bit of a residential feel, which actually makes it quite comfortable for the staff during long shifts. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. Instead, you just come up to the second floor and knock. We’ve got our computers set up and files stacked where they fit. It’s a functional space. Living and working in Howrah means you get used to the sounds of the street and the constant movement outside. Sometimes the traffic on Bharpara Road is a bit much, but inside we just focus on the cementation side of things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office design. We just need a roof over our heads and a place to organize the crew. The light in the afternoons is actually quite nice through the windows. We spend a lot of time talking on the phone and checking schedules. It’s just us, working away in an ordinary flat, making sure the business keeps ticking over as it should. Nothing more, nothing less than that for the people who work here.
