Hindustan Shoes Trading Company

Our place is at No. 2 Bansidhar Khetri Lane in Liluah. It's tucked away near the Hanuman Bhakt Mandal and isn't too far from Jaiswal Hospital. We handle a lot of different types of shoes here. Most of what we do is wholesale trading, so there are always crates and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It can get a bit cramped when we get a big delivery. The floor is concrete and we have these old shelves that have seen better days. We’ve been working out of this spot for years. It’s not a fancy showroom with carpets. It’s a workplace. We spend the day checking inventory and making sure the right sizes go out to the local shops. If you're looking for us, the lane can be a bit narrow, so it's easier to find if you use the hospital as a landmark. We deal with leather shoes, sandals, and work boots mostly. The guys working here have been with me for a long time, so we have a rhythm down. We don't do much fancy talk. We just move the stock and keep the books as straight as we can. It’s a lot of lifting and counting. Sometimes the heat in Liluah gets to us, but we keep the fans going and get the job done. It's a busy life, but it pays the bills at the end of the month.
