You can find us at 14/25, Dr. H.K. Chatterjee Lane in Ghusuri. It’s near the Don Bosco School in Liluah, which is how most people navigate to us when they are in the Victoria Market area. Our business is called Hanuman Dass & Sons. It’s been in the family for a few generations. The building is quite old and the lane is very narrow, so getting large deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. We deal in various hardware and industrial items. We don’t have a big, shiny office. Instead, we have a small desk tucked away amidst piles of stock. We spend our days talking to local tradesmen and helping them find exactly what they need for their projects. It’s a lot of manual work and we don't use any fancy technology to track our things—just old-fashioned notebooks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or corporate talk. We just want to provide what our neighbors need. The area is always crowded and noisy, but we’ve grown to love the chaos of Ghusuri. Some of our customers have been coming here since my father was running the place. We value those long-standing relationships more than anything else. It’s a simple, honest way to do business, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the doors open and do our part every day.
