Hangkolpa Foundation

Hangkolpa Foundation is tucked away on Tipling School Road, right at House No. 24. It’s in the 15 No Jaloni Grant area of Navajyoti. We’ve been at this location for a bit now. You can hear the kids from the school playing when the windows are open. It’s a nice spot, even if the road gets a bit muddy when the monsoon hits. We’re not some big city group with a huge building. It’s just a house where we keep all our files and meet up to talk. Navajyoti is a tight-knit place, and we try to fit in with that. We spend our days dealing with local stuff that comes up. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and plan. Other days, it’s a lot of running around. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just look at what's happening on our street and in the surrounding grants and see how we can be useful. The neighbors are good people and they know where to find us if they need anything. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the supplies, but we make it work. We like being near the school road because there’s always something going on. If you ever find yourself in Navajyoti, come find house twenty-four. There is almost always someone around to chat or help out with whatever project is currently on the table for the neighborhood.
