Haji General Store

Our shop is tucked away in Pilkhana 3rd Bye Lane in Howrah. It’s right near Pilkhana, a place we’ve known all our lives. Being at number 13, we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. This is just a small, family-run business known as Haji General Store. We keep the usual things like rice, dal, and different household items that people need suddenly. The lane is quite narrow, so it feels very local and tucked away. You won’t find any big signs or loud music here. Just us behind the counter. We spend our mornings checking what needs to be ordered and our evenings serving the neighbors. It’s a quiet kind of work most days. Sometimes the kids from the lane come in for sweets after school. We like being part of the daily life here in 711101. It’s not a fancy business, just a practical one. People know they can find us here if they need something small for their house. We try to keep the prices fair and the shelves full.
