Goswami Academy

Goswami Academy is located right at 95, Joy Narayan Sarani Lane. It’s a narrow lane in Howrah, so you have to look closely for the number if it's your first time coming here. The building itself is older, but it stays cool enough in the shade. We set up shop here because it’s a central spot for the 711101 neighborhood. There’s no elevator, so everyone just takes the stairs to the classrooms. Inside, we have some old wooden desks and a few newer plastic chairs. It’s not much to look at, but it serves the purpose. We don't have a lot of staff running around, usually just a couple of us managing the schedules and the students. Howrah is always crowded, but once you get inside the academy, it feels a bit more organized. Most of the kids come from the nearby schools after their classes end. We don't really do advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here on Joy Narayan Sarani Lane. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many students coming in and out, there's always a bit of dust. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone has a place to sit. It’s been our home for years now, and we don’t plan on moving anywhere else soon. There's a little snack shop nearby where kids go during their breaks.
