Golden Education

Golden Education is found at 14/4/2, Thakurdas Ghosh Street. This is over in the Howrah area, specifically in a residential part where things are a bit calmer than the main market. The street is lined with houses and a few small stores. We have been operating out of this address for quite a while now. The space we have is simple and functional. We have several rows of chairs and some long tables where the students can spread out their books. The lighting is okay, though we added a few extra bulbs last year to make sure no one was straining their eyes. We don't use any complicated technology. It is mostly just books, pencils, and the syllabus that the schools give out. Thakurdas Ghosh Street is a familiar place for the families who live nearby. Their kids just walk over after they have had their lunch. We start our day in the early afternoon and keep going until late. There is a lot of talk about exams and grades in these rooms. We try to keep the atmosphere steady and focused. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or plush carpets. It’s just a room with white walls and a lot of learning going on. We handle all the registrations and the teaching ourselves. It’s a small business and we put in the hours every single day to keep it running for the local students who depend on us.
