Glass Ply Center

Glass Ply Center is over in Mouri Mill Bazar on the Duillya Millgate. We are right near the Bank of India which is how most people give directions to get here. The shop is full of the smell of cut wood and that fine dust that gets on everything no matter how much you sweep the floor. We have stacks of plywood leaning against the walls and sheets of glass tucked away safely. It is a bit of a tight fit when we get a big delivery of materials. The Bazar is always loud with people shouting and vehicles trying to squeeze through the narrow ways. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and making sure the cuts are decent. It is hard work on the hands and we usually go home with splinters or a few small nicks. The humidity near the mill can be quite something during the monsoon months. We don't have a computer system that does everything for us so we still use a lot of paper notebooks to keep track of what is what. It is a simple operation really. We open the shutters in the morning and close them when the sun goes down. Most of our customers are locals who are fixing up their homes or small builders from around the neighborhood. We just do our thing day in and day out and don't worry about much else.
