Ghosh Bazar

Ghosh Bazar is a small shop located at Shop No.30 on Kashi Mondal Lane in Belur. We are quite close to Don Bosco School, so we see a lot of activity when the students are coming and going. The lane is narrow and has that classic neighborhood feel where everyone knows their neighbors. Our shop is packed tight with everything we sell. It’s not the kind of place with wide aisles and shopping carts. You usually just ask us for what you need, and we find it for you in the back or on the high shelves. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s just us running the place every day. We don't use fancy advertisements to get people in. Most of our regulars have been coming here for years. Sometimes the lane gets a bit blocked up with traffic, or the weather makes things a bit difficult, but we always open up on time. We keep a handwritten ledger for our records because that’s what we’ve always done. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to walk down Kashi Mondal Lane and step inside. We’re just a local shop trying to do right by the people in Belur.
