G A S Institution

Our place, G A S Institution, is located at 16/2 Benaras Road. If you know the Salkia Hindu High School, we are very close to that. It’s right near the Benaras Road More, which is a busy area in Howrah. We’ve been here for some time now. It’s an old building, but it works for what we do. We have classes for different subjects. Students come in from the nearby schools and stay for a couple of hours. The rooms are basic, with benches and boards. It gets quite humid in the summers, so the fans are always running. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights. People usually find us by asking around or because they live in the 711106 zip code area. It’s a local operation. We handle the teaching ourselves. There’s a lot of traffic on Benaras Road, so it can be a bit loud outside sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We don't do anything flashy. It's just a place where kids can come to study after their regular school hours. We try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit crowded during the peak times. It’s a straightforward setup. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone understands what’s being taught that day. There’s no corporate ladder here. We are just local people teaching local kids in a building that has seen many years of work. We stay until the last student leaves.
