Fortune Inn Sreekanya, By Welcomgroup, Visakhapatnam

This might seem a bit confusing because the name says Visakhapatnam but our office for this is actually way over in Howrah, West Bengal. We are located at 5/1 Thackwell Road, near the Belur Math post office. It is a quiet area and the building has been here for a long time. People usually expect us to be in Andhra Pradesh because of the Sreekanya name, but this is where we handle the paperwork and the back-end stuff. The street outside is narrow and can get quite muddy during the monsoon season. We have a small team here in Howrah. We spend our days on the phone or working on the computer. It isn't a fancy office with new furniture. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of Howrah, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very different vibe from the busy hotel life in Visakhapatnam. We get letters meant for the hotel all the time. Being near Belur Math is nice because it is a famous spot, even if our work is just routine office tasks. We don't really do any marketing from here. It is just a place where the administrative work gets done so the rest of the business can run.
