Essem Enterprise

We have been here at 2/1 Ambika Kundu Lane for a while now. Santragachi is a busy place, especially with the station nearby, but our little corner is a bit different. It’s mostly just us handling the daily enterprise work that comes through the door at Essem Enterprise. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy in Howrah and the lane gets a bit muddy, but we still open up every morning. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of papers that need sorting. We do what we need to do to keep things moving. Most people around here know where we are, right near the post office. It’s not always easy running a business in a crowded spot like this, but we make it work. We take the bus or the rickshaw and get here early. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit and wait or talk to the neighbors. There is always something to fix or a call to take. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a local team trying to do our job well enough so we can go home at the end of the day. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it feels like home to us. That’s just how it is here.
