It is located on Andul Road, right near the Danesh Sk. Lane. The office here in Howrah is always full of packages. You can see the stacks of parcels right from the door. It’s not a very big space, so things get a bit crowded when the delivery vans arrive in the morning. Being part of Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd means there is always something to do. We spend most of our time scanning barcodes or sorting things into different piles for the delivery boys. Howrah traffic can be a real headache, especially on this side of the bridge, so we are used to delays. The fans are always running to keep the place cool while we sort through the paperwork. It’s a bit noisy because of the traffic outside, but we don’t really notice it anymore. We have been at this 52/1 address for quite some time now. Neighbors know us well. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions because this part of Andul Road is a bit confusing. We handle everything from small letters to bigger cargo boxes that take two people to lift. It’s a regular job, nothing very exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. There are plenty of tea shops nearby, so someone is always going out to bring back some chai for the staff. We just try to get the bags loaded before the rain starts. It’s a dusty old place but we like it here on Andul Road.
