We’ve been based at 118, D.Duttagupta Sarani for quite some time now. This location in N.Baksara is where we handle the Dhl operations every day. It’s actually situated right at Rnroy'S Resi, so the whole place feels more like a part of the local neighborhood than some cold, distant office building. Most people living around Howrah know exactly where we are if they need to drop something off. Dealing with all sorts of parcels and logistics paperwork keeps the small staff here pretty busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the traffic right outside the door gets a bit loud and messy, but that’s just life in this part of West Bengal. We handle a lot of different items coming through for 711110 and nearby areas. Boxes come in from the trucks, they get sorted on the floor, and then they go right back out again. It isn't always a quiet environment, especially when the delivery drivers are coming and going or when someone is trying to track down a package that's running behind. The heat here in India can be really something during the summer months, but we just keep the ceiling fans going and try to stay focused on the tasks. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-tech here. Our job is basically just moving things from one place to another and not losing track of them. Most of us have lived in Howrah for years, so we know the local streets and shortcuts. If you walk down the lane, you will see our door. It is a very practical setup for us.
