Ma-Kali Industries

Ma-Kali Industries is tucked away at 34/35/2 on Dharani Dhar Mullick Lane. It is one of those narrow lanes where you really have to know where you are going or you might miss us. The building is old and has a lot of character, much like the rest of the neighborhood. We have been operating out of this space for quite some time now. Inside, it is always a bit noisy with the work going on, and there is usually a bit of a mess from whatever project we are currently handling. We do not spend a lot on making the place look like a showroom. It is a workshop first and foremost. The people who work here are local and we have all been together for a long time. We have our routine, starting with tea in the morning and then getting straight into the tasks. The lane outside is always full of life, with neighbors walking by and the occasional delivery bike trying to squeeze through. It is not the easiest place to reach with a big vehicle, but we make it work. We are just a small industry trying to do our part and stay busy. There is no corporate ladder here, just people doing work they know how to do. We like the history of the area and being part of this old street. It feels like home to us. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have fans.
