You can find Koley Valves Corporation over on Q Road in Monsatala. We are at No. 9/1, not far from the post office in Das Nagar. It’s a bit of an old neighborhood, and the streets are narrow. We’ve been operating out of this building for many years now. The walls inside are stained with oil and grease, which tells you how much work has been done here. We mostly deal with valves, so there are heavy metal pieces everywhere you look. It’s a dark space, but we have some bright lights over the work areas. The sound of the lathes is something you just get used to after a while. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes and sits by our door, waiting for someone to give him a bit of food. We take our tea breaks together in the small alleyway out back. It’s a quiet moment in a noisy day. Das Nagar is a place where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Some of the machines are a bit temperamental, so you have to know just how to handle them. It’s not something you can learn from a book. It’s just experience. We do our best with what we have and keep things moving. The days go by fast when there is plenty to do in the shop.
