CHENGAIL MUTUAL BENEFITS NIDHI LIMITED

Our group, Chengail Mutual Benefits Nidhi Limited, is located over in Uluberia. We are specifically in the Beltala area of Chengail. It can be a bit tricky to find the exact house number, 699/562/59, if you aren't from around here, but most of the locals can point you in the right direction. We have been working out of this space for some time now. It’s a busy part of Howrah, especially near the railway lines and the local markets. The office itself is pretty plain. We have some wooden chairs for visitors and a couple of old desks where we keep the records. We handle a lot of small savings and loans for the people living nearby. You will often see a few of us sitting around discussing the day's tasks or helping someone fill out a form. It gets quite noisy outside with the traffic and people going about their business, but inside we just focus on the numbers. We don't have any big corporate advertisements or shiny windows. It’s just a regular building where we do our daily work. Most of the time, we are just busy with the local crowd that stops by after they finish their own shifts. We have lived in Howrah for a long time. We keep the doors open throughout the day and try to stay on top of the filing.
