Bhandari Stores

Bhandari Stores is located in the Forgloster area of Bauria, down in Howrah. We are situated right on Bauria Station Road, which is a very busy path for anyone heading to or from the railway station. Because of our location, we see a lot of commuters every day who are in a rush to catch their trains. Our shop is a general store where we keep all the things people usually need in a hurry. We have snacks, tea, and various household supplies like oils and detergents. The building is an older one, and the shop has a bit of that aged look to it, but it serves its purpose well. We have shelves that go way back into the shadows of the store. It can get pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by on the station road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. We have been here for years, and we have seen the area change quite a bit around the old Forgloster mill. Most of our customers are working-class people from the neighborhood who stop by on their way home. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a straightforward shop where you can get what you need without any fuss. We open early and stay open late to catch the train crowds. It’s a lot of hours, but it keeps the business going and we appreciate the people who come back every day.
