You can find us over in Howrah, specifically at Shop No. 401 on the 4th floor of Block B in the D.R. Market in Bankra. Bhaghirathi Textile Private Limited is our name. The market is a very busy place, especially on certain days of the week when everyone comes in to buy and sell. Getting up to the 4th floor can be a bit of a workout if you are carrying heavy bundles of cloth, but we are used to it by now. The shop is full of textiles stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It is not a very organized look, but we know exactly where every type of fabric is kept. Howrah can be a tough place to work because it is so crowded and the traffic is always a mess, but Bankra is a real hub for this kind of work. We do not have any professional designers or marketing people telling us what to do. We just look at the cloth, talk to the traders, and get our work done. The heat in the market during the summer is no joke, so we usually have a few fans going at full speed all day. We are just a group of people making a living in the textile trade. We do not try to sound more important than we are. We just provide fabric and keep our shop running in the middle of all the chaos of the market.
