Family Mart

You can find Family Mart right at No. 295 G T Road in Belur. Being on the main road means it is always noisy outside with the trucks and buses passing by. We spend a lot of our time restocking the shelves and making sure things are where they should be. It is a local shop where we see the same people every morning and evening. Some days are much busier than others, especially when the weather is nice. We have a lot of items packed into the space we have. It is a bit cramped sometimes but that is part of the charm of a local mart on G T Road. We try to keep things clean but with so many people coming in and out, it is a constant job. Our door stays open most of the day to let some air in. People from Belur know us well by now. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to scramble to get things put away. It is a typical day-to-day life here. We like being part of the community and seeing the kids grow up over the years. No. 295 is a familiar spot for many folks around here. We just keep the lights on and help whoever walks through the door. It is simple work.
