You can find Crescent Casting Corporation at P-279 Benaras Road in Belgachia. This part of town is very industrial, with workshops and warehouses lining the road. Our place is no different from the others. It’s often noisy and there’s usually a lot of heat coming from the work we do. Casting isn't a clean job by any means. There’s soot and metal scraps everywhere, and our clothes usually end up looking pretty rough by the end of a shift. We’ve been at P-279 for quite a while now. The building is old, but it stays sturdy enough for the heavy work we do. Most of our time is spent around the molds and the furnace. It’s hard physical labor and the days can feel quite long. Benaras Road is always busy with lorries and vans moving goods back and forth. We’re just one small part of that big machine. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a place for visitors to sit. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor working. We don't use big words or any kind of corporate talk. Our focus is just on getting the shapes right and making sure the metal is poured correctly. It’s a straightforward business. We know our neighbors and help each other out when a machine breaks down. Belgachia is a place where people work with their hands, and we are fine with that. We open the gates early and we don't leave until the job is done.
