Bapan Sign is located over in Duillya Ruidas Para, which is part of the Andul area. It’s a local neighborhood and everyone pretty much knows everyone else around here. We work out of a small space that’s usually filled with rolls of vinyl and pieces of board. It’s not a big corporation or anything. It’s just us making signs for shops and whoever needs them. We spend a lot of time on our feet, cutting and measuring things out. The floors are usually covered in little bits of plastic and sticker backing by the end of the day. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, that’s the first thing to go. You can usually find one of us sitting at a desk or standing over a table working on a layout. We don’t use any fancy talk to sell what we do. If a customer comes in, we just talk about what they need and how long it’ll take. The area is fairly quiet, which is nice for concentrating on the tricky parts of the job. Sometimes we have to go out and install the signs too, so the shop might be closed for an hour or two while we’re on a ladder somewhere. It’s just a regular local business. We’ve been doing this long enough that we don’t need to make a big fuss about it. We just focus on getting the letters straight and the colors right for every job.
