Baba Tarak Nath Bhandar

Baba Tarak Nath Bhandar is located on Station Road in Sirajbati, which is part of the Amta area in Howrah, West Bengal. Being near the station means there is always a crowd of people coming and going. Our shop is right in the middle of all that movement in the 711401 area. We deal with various goods, mostly things people need for their homes or for their travels. It’s a busy life on Station Road. We start our day before the first trains really get moving and stay until the evening rush is over. The shop itself is simple, filled with bags and containers of different items. It can get quite hot and humid here in Howrah, so we just have a small fan going while we serve customers. We don't really use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell things. Sometimes the stock arrives late because of transport issues, but we make do with what we have on the floor. People in Amta are hardworking, and we try to match that by keeping our doors open as much as possible. It’s a noisy, bustling place to work, but we are used to it by now. Baba Tarak Nath Bhandar is just a local spot where you can find what you need and move on with your day. We’ve been here for many years and have seen the station change, but we stay the same.
