Ayusamuyaspi Impex Private Limited is our small business located at 76/15 Benaras Road in Howrah. If you’ve ever been to Benaras Road, you know it’s a major artery with lots of trucks and industrial activity. We fit right in because we handle import and export tasks. Our name is a bit unusual, but we’ve stuck with it. The office is just a plain room where we keep our computers and all the files for the shipments we manage. It can get pretty dusty with all the traffic outside, so we are always cleaning the desks. Most of our work involves coordinating between different parties to make sure goods are moving. It sounds simple, but there are always little problems that pop up, like a truck breaking down or a form being filled out wrong. We don't have any big mission statements. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things organized. The staff here is small and we all know each other well. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors, just a couple of extra chairs. Sometimes the noise from the road makes it hard to hear on the phone, but you just learn to speak a bit louder. We’ve been here for a while and we’re quite used to the pace of Howrah. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if it’s mostly just dealing with logistics and endless amounts of paperwork for the impex trade.
